Perhaps this one is obvious, but I didn't know about it until I saw someone do it. If you hit "Print Screen" under Windows NT 4.0, a copy of the screen's image is saved to the clipboard. You can then paste it into your word processor, image editor, etc. Control-Alt-Print Screen allows you to capture only the active window.
