I made this page when I was working as a lab operator at the Computer Visualization Lab at CSU. The Macintosh lab across from us had just installed a few iMacs with these hideous mice and I was inspired to poke fun at them. The DEC mouse was part of a large collection of old mice I bought (don't ask me why!) at a CSU surplus equipment auction.

Separated at Birth?

It seems like bad ideas just keep coming back. These hocky-puck shaped mice are guaranteed to give you an aching hand and hours of misery at your computer.

Thought to ponder: Eighty-six, the copyright date of the Digital mouse, written upside down, is ninty-eight, the release of the infamous ergonomically challenged Apple iMac. Just plain coincidence or some sort of mystical connection?
